GO GREYHOUND (Gulf Coast) 1960s Poster

The Greyhound bus company, founded in Hibbing, Minnesota in 1914, launched a series of “Go Greyhound” advertising posters in the 1960s, including this sun-drenched piece, beckoning beachgoers to America’s Gulf Coast. Decked out in a yellow straw hat, stylin’ ’60s cat-eye sunglasses, and fluffy white towel, a brightly striped beach ball soaks up the radiant, breezy ease of a day at the Gulf’s sandy edge.
