Monte-Carlo Pin-Up 1960s Poster

This is the famous Monte-Carlo travel poster by the inimitable Jean-Gabriel Domergue (1889-1962), who on numerous occasions credited himself with being “the inventor of the pin-up.” He was a student of Toulouse-Lautrec, and many celebrities posed for him, including Brigitte Bardot. Domergue lived in Monte Carlo and the Cote d’Azure where Europe’s most glamorous women were frequently seen and where the artist was a member of the jet set he so frequently portrayed.
