With the mythological winged hippocampus appearing in the rotating blades of an airplane’s propeller, this lovely poster advertising travel for Air France was created by Atelier Perceval. The memorable sea-horse logo was adopted from a similar logo used by Air Orient, one of the five French airlines that merged in 1933 to form the dominant French airline which is still in business today.
This is a high-quality photographic print of the original vintage travel poster. Photographed to retain original marks & wear and printed in my NYC studio. Framed in a black wooden frame or unframed.
