Engadin (St. Moritz) 1924 Poster

$22$48

A skier takes flight, relishing a bird’s-eye view of Switzerland’s valley of Engadin, and the popular tourist village of St. Moritz. Illustrator Carl Moos (1878-1959) created this exhilarating image in 1924, and was later commissioned to commemorate the jumping events at Pontresina, Switzerland, during the 1928 Winter Olympics. Moos’ style was much admired during his day, and his works have soared in popularity with collectors in recent years.
