Great Salt Lake (Southern Pacific) 1940s Poster

$22$48

Sometimes referred to as “America’s Dead Sea” due to its high salinity, it is in truth America’s largest lake not part of the Great Lakes region. It’s also the largest lake in the Western region of the USA, in Utah and so drew the attention of Western artist William Haines Hall. He designed this poster in his wonderful style showing the Southern Pacific train in its most streamlined Art Deco look.
